The Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park in Gombe State, established in 2021 under Governor Inuwa Yahaya, spans 1,000 hectares in Dadinkowa and supports industrialization with a focus on agro-processing, manufacturing, and services. It includes a 250-hectare Agricultural Industrial Cluster, modern infrastructure, and a strategic location near major transport routes.
Investors benefit from incentives such as tax holidays and funding access. The park has already attracted major investors, with plans to host 50 industries by 2023 and create over 100,000 jobs, positioning Gombe as one of Nigeria's safest investment destinations.
Dankwambo Mega Park, located at Dukku, Ashaka roundabout in Gombe State, is a 25-hectare facility designed to enhance transportation and boost economic growth. With nine terminals and capacity for 5,000 vehicles daily, it includes a hotel, clinic, shops, offices, and a trailer park. Opening in May 2024, the park will centralize motor parks across Gombe, reduce congestion, improve security, and stimulate commercial activity, creating jobs and contributing to the state's economic development.
The Gombe State Investment Summit 2023 (GoInvest2.0) aims to drive investment and economic growth by showcasing the state's potential in sectors like agriculture, mining, energy, and technology. The summit will bring together government officials, investors, and entrepreneurs to foster collaboration, innovative projects, and infrastructure development, creating job opportunities. It will also address policy challenges and advocate for business-friendly reforms, boosting investment inflows and supporting economic diversification. GoInvest2.0 invites stakeholders to help transform Gombe's economy and unlock opportunities for sustainable development.
